DINAMO, Discussions on Nano and Mesoscopic Optics, was launched to promote the transfer of knowledge between different branches of science and stimulate global solutions to complex problems of nano and mesoscopic optics.
DINAMO is conceived to provide an interdisciplinary forum where leading investigators from around the world can present and discuss their latest work and future challenges in an informal and interactive format.
From 8 to 12 of April 2015, gathering more than 40 top-rank international speakers, and 12 local students, the first edition of DINAMO was carried out with enormous success at El Chalten (Patagonia, Argentina). An exceptionally beautiful natural setting, and an isolated venue, promote the the scientific and personal interactions during presentations, discussion, meals and outdoor excursions.
