The National Secretariat of Government for Science, Technology and Productive Innovation awarded the Houssay Award in the category of Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Computer Science and Astronomy to Prof. Dr. Fernando Stefani.
The Houssay Award in this category is given once every four years, and is aimed at researchers under 45 who have developed most of their scientific activity in the country and who, in turn, stand out within their area of expertise, based on the production of new knowledge; discoveries of social impact, promotion of technological innovations oriented to the productive sector, and training of human resources.
