Since 1980, every 10 years, the Konex Foundation (https://www.fundacionkonex.org/) recognizes 100 remarkable personalities or institutions of Argentina for their work over one decade in different areas:
Sports, Show Business, Visual Arts, Science and Technology, Literature, Popular Music, Humanities, Comunication, Journalism, Community and Institutions, Enterprises, and Classical Music.
This year was the turn of Science and Technology, and Prof. Stefani was elected as one the 100 most relevant argentine researchers of the period 2012-2022 in the area of Analytical Chemistry and Nanotechnology. Among other things, the Konex Foundation remarks the excellent performance of Prof. Stefani training young researchers, as evidenced in the fact that 2 of the 5 awards of the Argentina Physics Association to best Ph.D. thesis in experimental physics awarded during the last decade were given to students from his lab.
