Fomer member of our group Dr. Luciano Masullo has recevied the Rising Stars of Light award in the “Before Faculty” track.
The Rising Stars of Light is as a worldwide campaign initiated by Light: Science & Applications in 2018 to highlight the most shining young scientists in optics-related topics. Since 2021, Rising Stars of Light is highlighted as a featured event by UNESCO’s International Day of Light.
The winners were selected from a set of applicants from all over the world. Luciano has been recognized for his outstanding work during his doctoral thesis in our group and a postdoc period in the group of Prof. Ralf Jungmann at the MPI for Biochemistry in Munich.
