The Light in South America (LiSA) Conference 2025 is a landmark international event co-organized by the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and with the support of journals Light: Science & Applications and eLight.
LiSA 2025 aims to unite global leaders in optics, photonics, and interdisciplinary research to address pressing challenges and advance sustainable development across the Global.

Prof. Stefani delivered a Plenary Lecture presenting the advances of the group the state-of-the-art on ultraprecise single-molecule localization. It was a great opportunity to to meet with friends and colleagues from around the world. Prof. Oscar Martinez from the University of Buenos Aires and Dr. Piotr Zdankowski, former member of our group, were also there.

We will co-organize the next LiSA conference, in 2027, in Argentina!
